1. Program Information

Portland, OR— Ash Street Arts Program provides art education and expressive rehabilitation to adults with traumatic brain injuries and developmental disabilities.  By nurturing each individual’s creative pursuits, we hope to promote self-expression, personal reflection, and life skills such as problem-solving and independence.  Our goal is to provide each artist with support in their creative pursuits and provide opportunities for them to earn an income from their art.  By sharing the work created through our program, we hope to inspire the public and provide the artists with a wide range of experiences, accomplishments, and possibilities for future success.

Besides original works of art, Ash Street Arts Program currently has calendars, greeting cards, and zines available for distribution.  All proceeds go directly to the artists.

Our products have been featured at various stores in the Portland metro area including Powell’s City of Books, Crafty Wonderland, Tender Loving Empire, ZimZim, People’s Art of Portland, Broadway Books, Screaming Sky Gallery, Crafty Underdog, Reading Frenzy, Mag-Big, and Aster & Bee.
